It's clipped to the solenoid body inside the pan.

That is odd that your post of the URL did not come up with a link.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...placement.html

The = after help needed to have a space before the HTTPS

See how it fixed it when I quoted your post after I placed the space.
Sometimes doing HTML can be a pain in the @ even when your used
to doing some of the odder things. I still have to use a cheatsheet
with some things.

At least when it comes to trans work doing the temp sensor is not too bad of an ordeal.
Just keep things clean and the pan gasket is reusable if not distorted. Also if you have
not done it yet now would be the perfect time to do the 6.4 Pan and filter upgrade.
They are down to $59.13
Trans Pan for 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty|8C3Z-7A194-B : AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake | Parts & Accessories
and the filter is $42.31
Filter for 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty|8C3Z-7A098-D : AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake | Parts & Accessories

I removed some # do to there being some question on what they were for.
