need some help trans temp problem

have a 06 250 6.0 I was driving home from work and my check gauge light cam on and also my tow haul light came on my trans gauge reads cold but my scan gauges says my trans temp is 8k is there a sensor for this

Yes there is a sensor on the solenoid body and they are known to fail, I have replaced a few.

Sounds Like a Bad TFT Sensor

I just did Mine Like 16.00 what I paid

It would Read 7000-8000* LOL and as the truck warmed up it would Jump High and Low temps like 70* one second and then 7000*+

Would also throw truck into Limp Mode

A good sensor will rise steady

No, you don't. That filter is good for the life of the transmission.
