That's a bummer, I've got 4 friends with F-S3's for a while now and they've all been great. Sorry you've had a crap go at it. Maybe youve just got that Midas touch lol.
So update on my "Midas Touch" LOL The shut downs must have been a fluke... I've tried to make it happen again, and so far so good, though I did add the adapters just in case...
The light output in low beam is great, however the high beam is still of little use. I did get flashed once by an oncoming vehicle, but adjusted the lights down, and haven't had the problem since.
On a side bar, Tricon which way did you end up orienting your bulbs?
Right now, I've got the low beam led's pointed up on the top set (like this: ^ ), and down on the bottom set (like this: V). The remaining side of the bulb being the led that comes on with the high beam.
The reason I ask, is the high beam doesn't seem to do much. It looks about the same as the low beams, maybe a touch wider. Are your high beams effective? Curious if adjusting the bulb rotation can fix that. Thanks for sharing any knowledge!
Able to get one side in and the fogs but the drivers side is being a pain in the a$$. Can't get the top to rotate to bring out and the bottom won't seat the LED into place. Went with the F-S3. 😬😡

The little ba$tards are in there tight! I had to use pliers to carefully unlock one of mine. No issues since. Had to install and remove many times while I found the best light cutoff... still working on the high beam though, be interested to hear how yours work.

I'm going in from the top by moving the washer fluid filler neck out of the way. Hard to get pliers in there. Your able to lock them in, in different positions ( LED on top/ or side)? I'll try and post tomorrow sometime if I can get them in. Thanks.

I went from the top as well. You can install them in different positions, however the collar only locks into the reflector one way. If you look at each bulb you'll notice a set screw that allows you to rotate the bulb within the collar to find the best light cutoff. There is a post above that describes the direction mine are currently installed.
What is the size of our fog light bulbs? I ordered the auxbeams (which by the way i love) but the HB4 doesn't seem to fit into my fog light housing. Unless I am missing something...?
I would be surprised if you guys with LED light bars in the front don't get into trouble. Around here you would get a ticket with them on unless you were off-road.

Haha, I'd say every other truck here in SoCal has either a 52in, or some combination of 20in and PODs installed. Cops dont give a ****.

Offroad use only. Unless there is literally nobody around then I might let em shine for a few. 12" by license plate is going to get some use during fog, as I have it angled downwards more. Lots of 18 wheelers and other trucks here in Texas have been running them regularly, but angled downwards as to not blind anyone.
I installed these:
Auxbeam LED Headlights F-16 Series H13 LED
Description says 72W, 8000lm, so rated higher than the others, the updated FS4's didn't get as good of reviews, so went with these.
So far, running good, I like them and they make a huge difference. I hate the blue look, they have a ever so slight tinge of blue but not bad.
I also bought these:
SiriusLED 9005 9145 H10 Size Projection LED Super Bright 30W 6000K White Fog Light DRL Bulb Pack of 2
and cant seem to get them installed, cant turn it into place, but looks exactly like the stock mounting flange.

I changed my 4 bulbs out to Auxbeam F-S3 and am very happy with the color and spread. My only issue is that if I turn the brights on there is almost zero change.
Has anyone else had the same experience? Any suggestions on how to get more of a high beam?
