Well I tried the auxbeam and the hikari and I can't get the passenger side bottom light to stop flickering when the truck is running. The auxbeam flickers a couple times and shuts off then when I turn the truck off comes back on and the hikari just flickers when the truck is running. I tried using the canbus and moving different bulbs to different locations I have gotten the same results. Its only the passenger side bottom light.
Hey fella's first post here. I picked up my new 17' F250 Lariat late last week to replace my 15' F150 Platinum, and promptly ordered a set of Auxbeam F-16's for it from Amazon.
I got em installed and loved the look, and they are great on low beam. But the high beam is crap, literally zero improvement from the low beam... Is there a certain way these should be oriented in the housing? (Horizontal/Vertical). All four bulbs are operating...What am I missing?

Okay, so I sent the F-16's back, and ordered a set of AuxBeam F-S3's, which I believe is what Tricon is using. The light output is way better, and the high beam actually does something now which is great!
However, while disconnecting the trailer after getting home from a long tow with the boat this evening, I noticed the headlights were randomly turning off an on... It's like each bulb was getting hot, turning off, cooling, then back on again. The engine bay was pretty warm from the tow, followed by idling while I disconnected. Bulb housings were indeed hot to the touch.
Any ideas? Tricon, do yours do this? Any one else, if you idle and let the engine bay get warm? I love the look and light of these bulbs. But if I can't trust em', I can't keep em'... Running out of ideas, and really hate the yellow lights. I should have held out for a truck with OEM LEDs...

I've towed for hours in 100F heat and never had an issue with them so far. They've worked everyday without issue since I got them.
That's a bummer, I've got 4 friends with F-S3's for a while now and they've all been great. Sorry you've had a crap go at it. Maybe youve just got that Midas touch lol.
I purchased Turbo LEDs. Fogs have not came in yet. Also purchased a 12" quad row led bar for the space above the front license plate. A 42" curved quad row led bar, and two 4" quad row led bars/pods.
