How exactly did you ask the dealer to this if you don’t mind me asking? Did you just show them the bulletin pic and ask to disable the fast blink or did you explain what you were trying to do. I can’t seem to fins any other threads about this so that’s why I’m asking.
What happens when u change the light bulbs?? A rapid turn signal on the instrument panel?? Do all bulbs make this happen?? Will it hurt anything to leave it like that are do u have to do a forscan??
Im just curious why yall keep ordering Auxbeam?? Cutting on and off, beam pattern isnt right no different in high and low beams...If they are giving yall that much trouble from the start do u really think they gonna last a few yrs??
I bought mine back in March or May of 2017. At that time, I wasn't a part of any forum. I simply googled "2017 super duty LED". Read a post on one forum and reviews on Amazon and they seemed decent enough. My beam does cut out, hi/low sucks, but, I have been too lazy to read these threads and figure out which is the preferred.
I understand Motoxxx..Its a gamble on buying them they might work in your truck just fine and they may not work in mine thats any light bulb!! Like Headlight Revolution there like $300 they work fine in some and ****ty in others!!
Wow, I made it through all 15 pages, clear as mud. Looks like the vendor offering discounts became a former member along the way. At the end of the day, has anyone found an L.E.D. headlamp that works consistently, better than original equipment?
If u are gonna convert to Led you either need to buy a extra set are keep your old ones in your truck!!! People are having to many problems out of the bulbs..What are you gonna do when you get somewhere and they all go out??
This is exactly why I haven't switched over to LED's for my headlights just yet. I couldn't see spending 300+ for the headlight revolution kit, nor could I see getting the Auxbeam's with the reviews being all over the place. For the time being, I swapped out my headlights and fog lights with the sylvania silverstars until the aftermarket can produce a reliable LED at a reasonable price. On another note, I have replaced my license plate bulbs as well as my reverse lights with led bulbs (Sylvania zevo's bought from Walmart) and they have worked outstanding so far.
I personally think im gonna go with Cree leds i had a F150 before this truck with Cree fog light bulbs and they worked i dont know how many years...I work on a drilling rig and they use Cree bulbs on the rig and they last forever!! When they coverted over to leds none would last due to the vibration and generators surging except Cree ...I know there 2 different bulbs but they seem to hold up better!! Are we could take all baseball bat smash the front end in tell the insurance company we hit a deer and get the headlight thats in the Lariat and Platinum!! JOKING

All I'm gonna say is Beamtech LED. Damn sure was nowhere near HR price. I almost bought the Zevo for my license plate, but found another brand on Amazon at $11.99 for 10 bulbs. Liking them so far, only been a few days though.
As far as Sylvania halogen, didn't work out for me. Bought an almost new set of LXE for about half price from a member here. Low beams were fine. High was terrible. A little over a month in and the Beamtech have been very good. Others have tried them and have good things to say. There's a whole thread here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...eadlights.html
