I had my colonoscopy today and no driving, until tomorrow because of the seditives they gave me..

 

I`ve never had one, hear it's not at all that pleasant!

 

It isn't that bad.. The prep is the bad part.. I was laying there on my side and the next thing I remember was waking up in recovery..

 

That would be enough to put me off....I`d be really tempted to ask for a second opinion.....to see if it was absolutely necessary.

 

They say it is.. How they check for colon cancer..

 

Than very likely I`m due for it soon.

Supposedly starting at age 50, you should have it done..

 

Then I'm a few yrs behind if it should be done at that age Steve.

 

I`m trying to figure out how to move that post but can't.

 

Every year I get a blood work up done at the lab and every even numbered year my doctor checks the PSA box and they send me home with the stool sample collection kit, less invasive but its like playing with your excrement.

 

I get that too, I still have to send in my latest one.

 

When they advertise on TV to have your colon checked there are 5 different ways they show to accomplish it..

 

The roto rooter method just isn't for me, I scare easily some days. Lol
