I hear you Perry, time, money and parts can be hard to manage.
I have a bunch of smaller pieces of plywood for you bird house project, too bad we`re miles apart.
Trust me Morris, I've got a pretty good collection of lumber. My grandparents made sure we understood what the dirty 30s were all about, when it hits the trash bin here, its toast. Lol. A lot of people think that I'm living way beyond my means or that there's a pension/ bank account that I'm not talking about. Stingy as hell and I know how to reuse and reuse again. These houses are 24 x27 x 24 high but aren't that heavy, they just require a lot of pieces. James was over and he kind of shook his head when he realized every piece gets edge sanded, glued, drilled and hand screwed together with no plans or anything marked down, pure off the cuff. The next one will be easier.
John, remember that there's a reason why the security companies charge $1500 to 2500 to install these wires in systems. It takes 2 days for 2 guys to put in the average system, wired alarm systems are worse.
Quite cold there this morning but warming up so they say.
I`m like your grandparents Perry, I recycle everything I possibly can. Not much hits my trash bin either.
Good to hear you`re feeling better John, just don't over do it.
Well I got 2 more cameras installed, taking a break before putting the last one up today. I think I'll wait until tomorrow before crawling back in the attic for the final hookup ..
Happy Saturday All. Got an offer on a free car today 97 WV diesel Golf. Looked it over, and passed. Only good for parts, but I don't have room. Or the Municipality would not approve. Good money in parts, but I would have to sit on it for a while. Taking it to work is not an option. Oh well, maybe the lotto will kick in, lol. Have a great day guy's.
Get Grant`s midget to feed the wires in your attic John.
Hello Grant; I`ve found that parting out a vehicle can take a long time then it can be a hassle to get rid of the hulk, what doesn`t sell.
It's hassle enough sometimes just getting rid of a whole car sometimes. It can sit there for months and after you get rid of it someone is calling about it..
I can almost stand up in the attic at the peak Perry but wish I had put a catwalk down the center to make it easier walking. Thinking of putting another layer of insulation up there too over the winter while it's cool to work there..
