She had cleaned house of his friends and kid about 6 weeks ago but it looks like the kid is back. A couple of months ago someone there got the brilliant idea that I would rent a room to one of them and a parking space to the kid. Not much brain power in that gene pool.
I have a stock of used, abused front fenders including a good pair of fiberglass ones that I could use John. Except for the fibreglass pair they all need some work but I`m not a bodyman by any means so I`m about 80% ready to order it.

Looks like it`s time for another round of house cleaning now.
Body work isn't as bad as it appears, most people just make it harder for them to do it. Don't try to fix the panel all at once, take your time and bring the panel back to shape a little at a time. When people see how many hammers that I have they usually ask if I use them all and get shocked when I open the drawer to my light hammers and mallets that I use for body work. As for the fiber glass fenders only use enough bondo to start filling the holes and scratches and build up to level surface. Use thin coats and you'll be able to start your sanding with 120 grit. Use a round rasp file to open up cracks and just a small amount of resin to fill it in, do 2 coats for strength. I'm sure you can goggle the procedure, just make sure its a pro showing the procedure and not a guy experimenting for the sake of making a YouTube video at home.
You two sound just like a friend of mine that is a master at body work, since it comes so naturally to him he just understand that some of us are hopeless at body work.
No matter how long the journey is, it always starts with the first step, its just a matter of taking the step and the next thing you know, the end is in sight.
Its always worked for me and considering that I've only have a grade 9 education, I sure have learned a lot and my best educator was a shoemaker with a grade 4 education.
I believe that Perry. When it comes to bodywork some of us have it and some don't. Unfortunately I can't find anyone that`ll do it for me now so I'll have to do the best I can. Most I've talked to want me to just leave them a blank cheque or they don`t interested.
I was watching a remembrance sunrise service from Toronto this morning and there is still leaves on the trees down there and we're freezing our asses off up here, but could never bring myself to live back down in that rat race again...lol
