Hello Shaun, Grant, John and all who lurk here.
-6°C and a few snow flakes coming down, life is great again!
My three cats enjoy their breakfast on the deck, the other one is enjoying another nap in the shop.

How much wood does a Woodchuck chuck, don't know but this is how much that I chucked today

Yard is a bit cleaner and bigger now, tomorrow I get to drain a propane tank and start making a wood stove out of it, BOOM. Lol

Hi Perry, I cleaned up a bit in my shop today as well on my welding bench. Lots more to go, when it warms up more I`ll go at it hard.

I'm taking advantage of this short warm spell to take care of some outside work and that includes making as much of this wood stove as I can. Might pick up an O2 bottle and welding sticks and save wear and tear on my mig.

Did Fte do some work on the site or is this their way of reminding me that my subscription is due next month.

How warm was it today? Are you using your mig without gas now?.
FTE did change things on the site, I don`t think that the way this is now was intended, hopefully they can eventually change it.
You can check when your subscription is due by going into your CP then under Miscellaneous go into ''Paid Subscriptions''.

I've got argon mix for the mig but theres going to be some continuous welding on this propane tank and its thick enough metal that it would take a lot of flux core wire and it would be hard on tips, expensive with wire and would push the duty cycle on my machine. I've got acetalene and gauges, just need to check my torch and tips and pick up a bottle of O2, bottles are a bit pricey if I buy it and would cost about $350 filled if I lease it, that price is for deposit, 1 year lease and fill for a 4' bottle.

My calendar shows my bills 60 days in advance so I've known about my renewal date for awhile now. I had to log in with my name and on my phone I'm getting ads coming through my adblock, hope they fix the changes soon or hire a better computer geek.

That sounds like a lot of welding, you`ll be in practice when you`re done. No used bottles show up at auctions?
If you like I can put in an inquiry about why ads are coming through your phone. Did this jsut start lately?

Theres about 20 - 24' of welding to be done most of it in 2' continuous beads, plus I may need to do some round and arc cutting. Bottles at the auction may be expired or close to it or may be on an expired lease. The acetalene bottle came with the garage so that might be a problem when I get it refilled, it was worth $100 in refund but it got left behind when its owner moved and it has gas in it still.

This ad thing started today some time after 2 my time and only happens on my phone, surprised it gets through my ad blocker.

Good morning folks

Warm with to much wind out here today, think I'll drain and open up the propane tank and fill it with water, will mark and cut it tomorrow as the wind sometimes sucks the air out of my lungs. There's lot to do in the shop and the sooner that I start the sooner that I'm done, in a months time.

The site works okay for me John it's just that ads show up on my phone and I have to be really carefull not to touch an ad when I scroll the page or touch reply or else I've got an ad on my screen and nothing else.
