That is a good size.
If anyone here has a snowblower at all, they are usually small.
At work we have a 7hp 24 " snowblower for the areas around buildings and machines etc.
For the big areas we use a pickup truck with 7.5 wide arctic blade on it.
At home we have a shovel and broom.
If it snows enough to clear it I use the very old honda single stage with rubber impeller as it doesn't mark the cement up and clears the snow away really well.
Remarkable how well it works.
It sort of pulls itself along because of the auger impeller thing.
I generally just shovel it most times for the bit of exercise it gives me unless it's wet or too deep or the pile the plow leaves at the end of the drive then I'll use the blower...
I'm always careful not to over do it when I'm shoveling, if I start to feel winded I stop and take a rest, come in and warm up..if it feels like it's too heavy the blower comes out..
A wonderful day of sorting nuts, washers and bolts but I'm down to the small half of the pile. This is my chance to get my bolt washer and nut sets put together so that I'm not chasing combinations later and finding the threads don't match . Got a lot of pieces for $100 sure will save a lot of trips to the store and money.
Thanks Ian, that`s only a small part of my yard. I love all the space, I hate just thinking about the day I have to move to town.

I have the bad habit of throwing some of my loose nuts and bolts in big boxes, it takes a bit extra time looking for them later.
It looks like there is about $1800 worth of nuts and bolts, theres about 150 4, 5 and 6" concrete anchors alone, a lot of equipment is going to get bolted to the floor including the wood heater. After tomorrow I get to start working on upgrading the shop.
Still very cold here Perry. Unless I fire up the oil burner heater in my shop all I can do is for now dream about re-organising my shop.
Good evening Ian.
It really is Ian....wind power is the big thing with -40 wind chill.
'' -40 to -50 wind chills return Wednesday, meaning skin can freeze in minutes.'' This is a direct quote from Global News.
We passed a wind farm this side of Drumheller on our trip.
No above 0 temps but they'll be as high as -5 to -3 for about 5 days or so, if its sunny our snow will shrink and I'll be able to knock down some of my snowbanks by a couple of inches.
