Good Sunday afternoon everybody.
Canadian Tire always has a sale on of some sort or other.
I have hardly any Christmas shopping done yet, guess I work better under pressure.

I can hardly wait to see what you get me Morris...lol
The cats got me a new welding helmet, some ratcheting wrenches and a 229 piece tool set to restock any missing sockets that I have. I got the cats 2 boxes of kitty litter and some cat nip mice.
Usually theres not enough on sale for me to justify the trip but the Christmas and easter sales are usually worth going to.

Likely the same thing will happen as last yr John and it`ll get lost in the mail. I decided to keep it here till you arrive next summer.
I`ve got an almost new welding helmet laying around, bought one and then saw one I liked better, that could have saved the cats budget some money.
Instead of of kitty litter I`ve started using floor dry for my 2 shop cats.

That would make a really nice Christmas card John.
I use the clumping style of kitty litter and found it really soaks up spills and is easier to clean up if I let it sit for awhile, usually grab one of the litter boxes as it kind of kills 2 birds with 1 stone, cats wind up with fresh crapping sand.
Got a $170 helmet for $85, couldn't scare Sally with it, guess I'm not a good Darth Vader
It seems that with the postal service the rates go up as the service goes down.
I have to use clumping kitty litter in the house as the princess won`t use any other kind, I it as it turns to mud in a few spots. During the summer I often use sand in the shop.
A $170 helmet doesn't scare Sally..... did you make the appropriate noises?
The helmet even has skulls on it and it didn't phase her, there was a wide selection of either flames or skulls. It's a lincoln helmet and appears to be a quality piece. As I was walking through the store I kept hearing ticking sounds like a clock but couldn't figure it out at first until I stopped to check out some grinding discs, it was the theft detection devices that they use. The $375 that I spent felt like robbery when I only got $1.45 back in Canadian Tire money.
Sally probably likes skulls, flames might be more scary to her. Lincoln used to be a really good brand when it was made actually in North America which I doubt it is now.
I hated the old paper Canadian Tire money, like what do you do with 30-40 cents of it other than throw it on your dash and watch the wind blow it away when a door was opened.
When I finish putting the office together I'll have found my CTM jar and add this to it, then someday when I'm feeling like a dick I'll go to Canada Tire and jam up a tellers line up and cash it in on cat food. lol
Don`t laugh, one time when I was there some peep filled an entire Canadian Tire service counter with piles of CT money. When I got outside the store I looked for a Brinks truck parked by the front door.
Years ago when they gave CTM at the gas bar I managed to get about $30 of the stuff and used it to help pay for a muffler and exhaust pipe, made lots of fans that day.
The cats are making out on the couch again
How many pounds did it take to make that $30 of CT money? I mostly got 5 and 10 cent coupons, the odd time it was a bit more.
I may have to censor that pic Perry.
Every thing was counted and wrapped with rubber bands, the nickles and dimes were a pita but I seem to remember a lot of quarters. It took a couple of years to collect it, the store and gas bar was only a few blocks from the house and I fueled up twice a week or so.
These 2 cats wash each other a couple of times a day, cleanest cats in town.
