So do I Morris. Sadly that is not going to happen. A contractor decided today would be a great day to do water main pressure testing at our athletic complex. So I just had to take down the fire alarm system audibles so when they set the fire alarms off in the building due to the test it doesnt make any noise.

Wish we could. But I spoke to the director of the department that handles that system for maintenance and what not. And when the guy that is way above me on the ladder says to do it I tend to do it. Prevents having to fill out paperwork later.

Good afternoon folks
Crawling under a truck with a sawzall and angle grinder to remove an exhaust system and modify a x member so that I can mount a motor, transmission, relocate the cab and box then bolt it all together is so much easier and more fun than pushing a pen..... not. At least it's almost summer weather out here so that'll make it easier. Tired today but tomorrow is a run around day so I guess Monday is my break day. We're 4 above and better up to the 19th according to the long range forecast.

How often are you able to avoid paperwork? Unfortunately all types of management and gov`t agencies love paper work.

This is the one that gets moved, was going to get into it yesterday but it took longer to get the front rotors spinning than I wanted and had to move an engine out of the way to make it easier to work around the truck. I would have gotten as far as hanging my hoist chain and tackle and it would have been dark, I don't want it hanging there overnight in case it grows feet and runs off.

Sometimes I can avoid it for weeks. But if people call out etc. then I have to deal with paperwork. Today I had to fill out paperwork because of a call out on the next shift. Also had to send some emails concerning that call out and a few things with the testing that happened which is now finished. And then just finished sending an email concerning picking up the big boss and taking him to a meeting downtown. The big boss gets what he wants considering he is the president of the university and also signs the paychecks.
