Good day Grant, John, Ian, Perry and all who lurk here.
It`s 3°C and very cloudy but still a decent nice day to be outside before it gets a lot colder next Tuesday.

I wonder how this person got to make this video, did you post a bunch of clips on the internet?
What did it cost to have the truck flat decked to the new place Perry?

The guy just took the pictures from my build thread on here Morris, I've never posted a video anywhere...
That`s a bit more here Perry, I think it would be about $150 for an in town haul. I do get a bit better rate for getting my Bobcat decked in by the Bobcat dealer, I`m about 10 miles out of town.
Deck truck operates won`t dicker a lot around here John.
Usually it's about $150 - 180 plus gst, but theres independents that need to feed their habits and have a xmas bill to pay so there is some competition.

I have a friend that has 2 of those trucks Morris and doubt I'd get a deal..lol
430 and the day is done, clean wear is on and the coffee is brewing, towing kid was cool and it only cost $80 to move the truck. I still need to put it in the shop but it was going to work out that way any how, helping the kid chain up and making this job easier saved some $ which is rare in this town.
$80 to move the truck is a sweet deal Perry. How do you like your new yard, is it a bit bigger than your old one?
Like everybody else they have their costly expenses too John, a few discounts here and there could mean money problems at the end of the month.
Instead of 26'w of total yard I now have 52', the front depth is the same as the last place and the back yard is a bit deeper but only by about 5'. What I like most is this place is all mine and I don't need to deal with other tenants and all the crap that entails. I just remembered that theres an extra 14' beyond the fence line out back and next year I'll be moving the back fence in order to take advantage of it plus I'll be changing the gates to make them more useful.
I got so used to the wide open space of the acreage and having the quonsets it felt like I was living in a chicken coop when I moved into town. The area I was in had good homeowners but the rental units were mostly a collection of lowlifes that our CPS catered to, it was like the cops wanted to turn the area into a schit hole. This area is a whole different mentality and most of the people are quite sociable and even the renters are good, the only problem was this place as there were 7 adults living here and most didn't work.
