I like the idea of the PN 89990 with a receiver mount on the front of the truck.
That winch is heavy so I don't like the idea of moving it around with my back.

I was just thinking that a Ranch Hand front bumper would solve the problem.

New front bumpers solve a lot of problems. I could use them to solve my light mount question since they protect against unwarranted Prius attacks. I also want a winch (for no real good reason), so it's almost two birds with one stone.

One question it does't answer however is how long I'd have to sleep on the couch in our cold basement.

I do like the Fusion bumpers.

Need to replace my drag link and the one that connects to the passenger tie rod this coming weekend.

I did pump some grease in each so it should get me by for the next few days.

Jewelry is the answer at my house. The winch is worth a nice set of pearl earrings, nothing overboard.

My honey just found a nice ring she liked, and "It was on sale". By the end of the conversation, I got the okay to go ahead find a deal on the '72 Mustang fastback I've been wanting. The *#%! works!

Ouch. Did Horizon treat you right? That's where I normally get my MC parts.

I usually talk to Tim or Wyatt, they know me down there and give me internet pricing.

Which area do you live in?

I don't remember the guy I normally work with, but Tim sound familiar. I ask for the "internet price" as well and he hooks me up. I live in the Kirkland area, but worked (until this week) just down the street from Horizon. I've been tracking the basic MC parts on Amazon the past few weeks and they're cheaper than even the "internet" discount. Think I'll just order online now since my daily activies don't take me into that area anymore.

Not so much with only the 8K tow tune.
But has I had the SRL and the Atlas 40 in the FICM.
I have been told that combo does smoke some what more.
The SRL gives a light haze is all.

I wished I had access to the tuning tool for the FICM to
play with the combos and see what happens to the smoke
and MPG numbers.

I compared the parts I recently ordered and Rock-Auto was about $40 less on a $250 order, however different part numbers on RA and would have waited a week for shipping. The alternator was comparable to any Autoparts store pricing though. It's kind of a catch 22 if you will. I do check Amazon sometimes and have Prime.
