Sunday I will head up to Camano Island to help diagnose a sick truck.

I actually sort of makes sense that I might have an air pocket because I put the hammer down the other day and that created a ton of 'coolant flowing' noise behind the dash that was much louder than I'm used to. Fingers crossed, it would be nice it this worked haha
One otehr thought if you want to go driving anc come on over I do have a rad vac
we could put on it and pull the air out of the system. Or if this is too short notice
we can plan a visit.Fi we do be sure to bring some extra mix (for the truck) to put
in if there are some large bubbles.
How do you like the Aluminum truck? Which headlights does it have?
I love the truck. The AL is fine, I don't have an issue with it. The weight savings is great since I added a canopy and carry a fair amount of gear in the back. The biggest "problem" I've had thus far is not being able to put a mag mount on it.
As for head lights, I've got the standard halogen lights. I replaced the bulbs with PIAAs recently for a big improvement.
Integrated Wheel Ends. Vacuum hubs, basically. Not a huge deal but I've fixed an awful lot on this truck I just bought. Good thing I can do the work myself, I'd be in deep if I had to have a mechanic do it.
Not a single slip or slide. It was so warm actually, I didn't even check the temp gauge. I even punched it up the freeway on ramp to get around a semi and no issues. But the kids still had a two-hour delay. Think I got lucky; wife told me she slipped all over the place taking my daughter to school.
Back into the 20's tonight. Will be very careful tomorrow!
