When the Mrs is riding shotgun, but the rides' seen better days. So, what's the life expectancy of shocks? My 4600 series bilsteins have 6yrs/130ish k miles on them. Time to replace or remove bottom bolt and check resistance?
Even if they are still working, they are worn. While shocks are not that expensive in the grand scheme of things (especially if you can find a rebate) they do still cost some coin. IMHO I'd replace them. Worn/bad shocks can lead to other premature wear on tires and components which can start hitting the wallet. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I probably ought to replace my rear Bilsteins since they now have about 150K on them. I don't really haul or tow anything, but it's probably time anyway.
Think of, women jumping on a trampoline 😋... But, CAN post pics of me shocks 😈. Pulled trigger on Rancho 5g's(5000)...Hundo cheaper then steins, in which works right now with Xmas around the corner
Eons ago when Dinosaurs roamed the earth, I had this one girlfriend that was well... endowed. When she visited, we would go swimming, then she would put on her T-shirt (getting it wet) and we'd play ping pong. I was pretty sure she was doing that on purpose. I'm not making this stuff up... except the dinosaur part. It was Pac Man roaming the earth.
