Wife left this morning for a week to visit her mother and Grandfather in New York. I spent the day working in the yard and by about 2pm I was praying for rain!!

I have been cutting brush and junk bushes and saplings for the past 3 days, The previous owner was disabled and had crappy sons so needless to say I am catching up on a ton of way past due trimming and clean up. I must say it is looking a ton better but I am biased...

Man, I hear that. I got to get up at the but crack of dawn to cut my yard before I am baking in the sun. When my wife and I first moved in to our house there was a bush bigger then my truck next to the house that had grown out of control. Could see out the windows. It took me 7 hours to make it go away.

I hurt all over but my hands hurt the worse. I used round up to kill the weeds and vines along the fence line but I didn't want a bunch of dead saplings standing. Once I get it cleaned up I can use chemicals to keep it under control.

The new engine is going to be awesome. I am ordering the carb for the 79 today.
