Maybe your bosses are trying to be nice so you won't leave
Thats just it. I didnt see them once today, and it was a good day. haha. 1 employee walked out today, another next week, my coworker leaving about the same time I do...
I spent most of the day doing some paperwork and all the mandatory training. Work starts at 7 AM but I did not have to be there till 8 AM today so I decided to do a practice 7 AM run anyway. Glad I did as I just need to leave the house about 15 minutes earlier and I will be golden.
That will leave them a painter and painter helper, 2 body men, a buffer/detail/clean up guy, and their uncle, and 4 office men including themselves and the office guys dont get dirty......They are already overloading the 2 other body men, and detailer. Chances are they will hire someone else, but they wont be near as good. I have seen the talent around the area, hacks..

It's not bad, I kinda like being a worker, a lot easier than being the boss sometimes. I enjoy working on the equipment but I just have to get the electronic ordering system down. Everyone is friendly and help me when I get stuck on something. They were impressed that I could drive a tracked vehicle, takes other people weeks to figure it out.
Fillet work finally done. Got the drivers side and half the roof sanded with 80 grit. Bumpers , running boards,,grill, headlights , tailgate and tail lights all off. On the mechanical side got the replacement powersteering pump on.

youve been busy. Sounds like what im doing at work. Got 2 trucks, replaced both bedsides, and started to fix the door frames, stripping a bunch of crap off them.
I finish the 80 tomorow and maybe the 150 and do the 220 Monday and shoot the expoxy Tuesday. Got to go to ATL Wensday, I stop by Summit and pick up the black and Gray. Deniest appt Thursday. Shoot the 2 k primer Friday.
Thank god tomorrow is Friday! It's been fun, worked on 3 different excavators, steadily growing bigger in size. It's adjusting to the new hours and just having to work that's making me tired. I am sure it will get better in the next week or two.

came home, cut the exhaust, both sides are sitting next to the truck to be welded in the morning. Fans, and tail lights should be here tomorrow. Everything is wired and ready to go. Had to also get a new trans modulator, mines leaking bad. Other than that, should be able to drive around tomorrow.
Got a jeep that came into work, got to tearing it down and noticed oil and diff fluid, oil was not in the usual places for leaking, so I get under to check it out, and see a stream following a certain way on the side of the block, wipe it down, and find the driveshaft had impacted the side of the block near cylinder 2, took a chunk out, and gave the side of the block a nice long crack..... 2014 Jeep unlimited, and this will probably total it....
Tested out our new harbor freight media blaster, and works like a charm. Got the bed upright, and cut out the center braces and started blasting the rails, metal looks good in the vital areas, so we will blast and rust coat, and start making the wood bed. But the truck will run and drive around for a little while the bed is taking shape. Hopefully everything goes smooth ill slip the glass in the truck, and drive it to work on monday
