Are they tying everything down on base, Larry?
I used to love that...
We had to get everything we could into the motor pool and tie down what was still outside...
Not this time....
I'll never forget having to tie down a 2000 pound jersey barrier to the chain link fence so the barrier wouldn't blow away.
We never got a drop.
A little breezy and 70*.
Sure was nice cutting grass today in less than 90*...
Pulled up all but one of my tomato plants and tilled that part of the garden and never broke a sweat...
Still raining/misting off and on here, seen a buddy of mine post about 9 last night he had 5+" of rain on his gauge, and it rained all night. We got some good gusts out of it but nothing to bad. I also saw a good bit of flooding happened in the AB/Morehead city area aswell as further down east.
So far just a pretty good rain coming down....still. Breeze feels nice, been sitting out on the front porch with my Mandolin.
Your front porch is a great place to watch the storms from!

You already tilled them up? Mine are still producing. 1 every couple of days. It's enough to keep me in fresh tomatoes for lunch sandwiches!

Well with wind comes pine straw, if you have pine trees. And I *********** hate pine straw. have since I was little, always had way too many pine trees. My driveway is covered right now!
Well just loaded up one of the old mowers I've collected. My little shed is starting to look clean and organized (empty) the way I like it.
Bout to load up the old winch and some of the other junk from the garage and take it down to a friend in Raeford for parts and scrap metal, may stay for a few beers and some bbq. May get the Kayaks out this weekend at some point and get Mary out on the water.
