So far so good Josh! Thanks. We left MN to lose the winters there. So hot is good. From what I looked at June-September here is Hot, the rest is what I would consider mild and kinda cool. With some cold here and there. No -30 crap like MN can get...

To be truthful, since we got back from our vacation, fighting with my insurance company, and everything that went on then, I have barely touched it.
I have had my 12 string acoustic out playing some Pink Floyd quite a bit though.
Just lit the grill to put some bacon cheddar burgers on, and it just started raining, and coming down pretty good too

I've been MIA a few days, between concert, work, puppy, and helping on a few others projects I've been stupid busy.
Seen a line of seagulls headed west today, hope that's not a bad sign for the storm coming up.
Either way this storm needs to go on and get out of here! I've got tickets to Darlington for the Bojangles 500 Sunday and I'd really like it to not be rained out.

Batten down the hatches, David. I hope its not as bad as it looks on radar. This time last year we were just leaving Frisco. If we were there this year we'd be towing all the way back in that storm. All that rain might have helped my EGT's stay a little lower...

With the impending weather coming our way, I've put a pork shoulder in a brine yesterday, and have it in the smoker right now with some hickory wood, and gonna throw a little peach in there too

I've done pork ribs like that several times, with vary good results. Trying not to burn anything, I snagged a sheet pan (that is now dedicated for the grill)
and put my ribs on that instead of directly over hot charcoal.

I've got a rib rack that stacks them on their sideways between coals on both sides. I usually do them on the rack at 225*. This time I'm going for 325*.
