Injector/ HPOP and oil

My question is; is the oil in the HPOP that works the injectors a different oil or oil supply from the engine oil? If so what kind of oil and how often do you check it and or change it? I believe I saw a video of a person checking the HPOP oil level from the top of it by removing a bolt...????

It's filled with engine oil, and supplied from the main low pressure oil pump. you'll never have to change it separately, or even check the level.

now that there was funny.

But in reality you can change it will it make a difference, yes oil wont turn tar black, I for one do it at work and most of the 7.3 trucks are still sporting the stock injectors with stock O rings with trucks with 260k- 390k and most have never seen fuel additives.
Can I prove this works no, im no scientist, but real word test has shown that injectors have lasted longer.
People will make fun of us who do it, but if I can get 400k out injectors dam right ill keep doing it

already ahead of that. I still have air in the tanks from last fall so I will use it and be ready for 2 seasons.
