I must be blind. I can't see the extenders in the picture. I'm looking for the pieces you linked to on amazon.
I mounted the "spool" on that rib that runs along the back of the cab and around to the door jamb. I have plenty of extra belt. The problem for me is where it buckles. They aren't long enough to poke through the seat.
Oops. Sorry 91. I posted the wrong pic. Here's two I just took that show the extenders and my mounting location. My PO had 67 GTO seats in the cab instead of the bench, so maybe that's why I ended up with less length than I would prefer.
If all you're looking for is a little more length so that they come through the seat, the extenders should work perfect for you.
After lots of travel stalling my progress, I finally got some time today to tape off the interior and hit it with some rust encapsulator.
My wife is usually the painter, so she even came out to help! (Maybe she was motivated by the beautiful 75 degree day in late October.)
Up next, I need to tear apart that second seat so I can get my second new cover installed and get the seats back in place permanently.
Was able to get some work done this weekend.
The weather was beautiful, but I worry it's the last of it before Winter.
Second seat stripped, painted, re-foamed, and re-covered
dashboard sanded, dents filled, and painted
dashboard re-painted because the first blue looked too purple
passenger door disassembled
patch panels welded outer and inner door shell
The patches on the rear fenders turned out great. You can't even feel where the weld line is. I'm much less happy with the outer patch on the passenger door. I sanded that weld line like hell, and I still can feel a ridge.
I had to quit last night, but when I get back to it, I'm hoping I can use some bondo to feather it in...
BTW, it looks like you live in a nice section of suburban Philly! I had to look it up but I thought Radnor was in Montgomery County but I see you are in Delaware County.
I can't speak to how well it holds up in the long-term, but it provides good coverage, and I like the flat black color.

Yup - Delaware county. We're just outside of Wayne.
