Thanks for the Nods on the Jeep... Hopefully it will be a good rig for a long time. We bought the Lifetime Bumper-to-Bumper warranty for it as well..
I ordered up a Curt Class-III hitch for it last night and the OEM 7-way wiring harness from the dealer yesterday. I'll drive down to Owatonna later today and get that.
Ok I wonder if this guy realizes that either the frame is bent or the box braces are rusted away. Slight issue with the box and he mentions the seat is worn. haha
I was just going to ask when you leave for AZ but I guess pretty soon. haha. How long are you gone?
Me or Jay?
I'm not leaving until sometime in October...
Man, I broke out my pressure washer today and tried to get the bugs off the front of the truck... Yes, lotsa bugs coming up from the south. I have no idea what these bugs are, but they are tough as steel... I used almost a full tank of gas in the PW and got about 80% of them off, but the rest are really being difficult. I spent a couple hours with Bug & Tar Remover, then Wd40.. I'm about 95% done and hope that the WD40 will loosen the rest by tomorrow..
So what does everyone use on their chrome etc up front to help keep the bugs from welding themselves on?
In other news, the dealer decided they can sell us the van. We just need to sign a statement acknowledging that there's an open recall and we'll get it fixed. Picking it up tomorrow.
That truck has been rode hard and put away wet. All rust underneath I bet.
Yes it has.

That would be Jay since he said it was almost airplane time.
Hot water pressure washer is what I use. Biggest thing I know of is too clean as often as possible. My truck gets washed pretty much weekly during the summer. If I drive at night when there is a lot of bugs I will try and wash the next day if at all possible.
