Good afternoon everyone! Sure is nice out. Got a Progressive EMS system installed in the camper. Don't want any electrical surprises on the road. Kinda cool to see your amperage and voltage draws too. Now just to do the normal stuff to get to it ready.
My back didn't appreciate it either and I should've "team lifted" it, but the Mrs. wasn't available when I was moving it out from the shop. I managed to crack my back in the right way this morning and then took a nap this afternoon. My back is much closer to normal now.
Tractor stuff ends up being extra heavy. Last summer I built a stump grinder and moving it's pieces was brutal.
Normally I wouldn't be stump grinding in rifle deer season, but my Northern neighbor dumped bait 30' beyond my no trespassing sign the year before (the whole parcel was professionally surveyed in 2011 with stakes every 300' and tape every 100') and then moved his stand to my lot line last year, and my other neighbors on that end of the block sit on my lot line (even after being asked nicely not to, and after poaching two fawns off my place causing the need for that survey); so I've pretty much run out of chits to give about their hunting. I tagged out with my bow Friday morning before gun opener.
Pretty impressed with the base 3.7L engine. It's no rocket ship by any stretch, but it does a more than adequate job moving that thing around. Have some work to do on it, first up is a bluetooth-enabled head unit once Metra releases a dash kit.
I've had my BT head unit for a couple weeks and it's nothing short of awesome! I had my first taste of one in a Toyota rental last year and I've wanted one ever since. Being able to have google maps on a 7" screen is a big improvement too.

I installed that unit in my camper too.. Getting that 6G cable through the chokes and hooked up to the relay was an exercise for sure... I learned that absolutely nothing runs through the second leg of my 50 Amp shore line unless, maybe, it would be the second AC unit if I were to ever add it.. It is good to see the load for L1 though..

That looks really nice Tom! A lot nicer than the one over at Milo Peterson Ford... Are you going to be making all the mods for the lift etc?

Thanks Randy! Nicer looking with the privacy glass, but this one is lacking a bunch of options the one at Peterson Ford has. I can add just about everything but the EcoBoost engine, but the 3.7L seems to be more than adequate. For $15K cheaper I can live with that.
The wheelchair accessibility mods are a bit out of my league, lots of proprietary install info is required that you just can't find online. Some of it may require cutting and welding, so best left to the professionals. Just have to turn in Hannah's disability determination letter to the county and they'll request funding, the state CAC waiver should pay for all of the modification costs. I'm guessing it'll be a hair under $10K in work, the majority of that will be the lift. I'm saving taxpayers a bundle by not staying with the minivan.
I've done a lot of fabrication and your work is some of the most solid I've ever seen.. I'll be reading more of your build thread - am in 20 pages so far..

Maybe you need some Jim Timber help!

Thank you Chris for the install help. My brother also helped.
Those long awnings are a real handful. Mine is 20' and yes it sags in the middle just a little...
Thanks Randy! I'm a fabricator turned machinist. I built the subsoiler while the mill was running this week. I have 3-4 minutes between tool changes (no fancy automatic tool changer on my dinosaur CNC), so I decided to have at it and do something other than surf the web. After all, there's only so much youtube a guy can watch not being able to hear a word of it.

Yeah, running everything around in the basment was loads of fun for sure. But, if it saves one appliance, it will be well worth it.
