So my mom is with my grandmother, and going to PA to see my Aunt and help my Uncle out. Nurse she talked to doesnt think my Aunt will make it through the week. Its probably bad to say this, but I hope she doesnt. Hope she goes out with no pain, that C word is a nasty thing. Am I wrong in saying that?
Cancer is a horrible thing and it took my father in law. They went in and removed half a lung and within 5 months he was ate up with cancer and was gone.
I detailed the engine compartment of the Lightning, it was looking really rough. I noticed the pinion seal is leaking so that will be replaced in the near future. With the weather finally turning warmer I am going to clean the carpet and detail the interior real good.
I cleaned the wife's ride. I also cleaned the door jams of the Jaguar. I was not too motivated yesterday.
Last night I took the wife and daughter out for a ride in the Jag, they have never ridden in it and I have it looking and driving like new. They were impressed how much better it is now compared to what I brought home 2 weeks ago.
Heading to Atlanta today to turn in the last little bit of my Army gear and close out my hand receipt.

Jacob, I don't blame you, I know that like the Diabetes I've had for over 35 years, it's nothing compared to Cancer. If I am ever diagnosed, just hope it goes quickly if not curable. Good luck to the family.
Another day on the road in traffic. Got all the parts to start mirror upgrade, except heat switch that left Atlanta a day ago who knows where the post office sent it.

Just a waiting game now. See what happens this week.

I went to Atlanta today and turned in the last little bit of gear I owed the Army so I am free and clear now!!!
Went to one junk yard and scored a new seat bottom for the rear sear and I got a power latch for the truck, both for the Jag. I few more little things and she will be right again!!
The wife went with me today and we got the little man a suit for Easter. Going to have his pictures made with the Easter Bunny.

Which Junkyard you hit. I did Pull Part in Conley, Kerns big truck in Conley and Evergreen in Stockbridge they had the pigtail I needed for the power mirror switch.
I went to Cobb auto recyclers for the back seat and I went to Coventry West for the trunk latch. Coventry West specialize in Jags and they had some really beautiful cars there. I was also looking for is a passenger side defrost vent for the dash. Jaguar still sells them new and they are not that expensive.
The last little bit of stuff I need I can order new like a trunk seal, brake fluid cap, a clip for the rear door panel and the defrost vent.
I am just glad that I will be able to lock the truck and get rid of that really messed up back seat bottom. A new headliner and the few odd and ends and she will be perfect again.
Scored a new to me rear seat bottom yesterday, I cleaned it up and put in the Jag today. I also got a new trunk lock mech and installed it too. She is coming along!! I got an appointment at Ft Benning so I will be on the road tomorrow.
The weather has been outstanding lately, looks like they are calling for rain over the weekend.
Thanks!!
A few more odds and ends and she will be right again. I have to put a pinion seal in the Lightning and one in the motorhome. Then fix the AC in the daughters Mustang and then I can start working on the 79.
Thanks!!

And I thought I had alot to do and I only have to work on the truck. Keep up the good. work. Do you think I could just get a bottom seat piece for my 73 bench? Is there a technical name to tel the yard people when I call?
Backs fine but the drivers side bottom could be better.
