Not working tomorrow, so the front suspension on the Ford will get done, dodge will get some love, and ill start making my molds for automotive lenses for light components. Should be interesting. Ive got 10 reserved buyers waiting, and they also express interest in other lighting things. If it goes well, I might have a market.

Looking for some land too. Got to start working on building a shop. Ive got the clientele, and I need to start working for myself. Bunch of shop drama, lack of communication between the 3 bosses, and unbelievably unrealistic timelines.

Today is maintenance day for me too, I have the engine oil draining on the lightning now. I am trying to buff out some of the scratches that my wife put in the side of her while I was deployed.

Then jumping over to the Jag and going to change the transfer case oil and then the transmission fluid.

The weather is so stinking super!!!!

This is what I started with on the front of the bed, did not look good. Today I can finally show some progress

I don't claim to be a body man, but it will be good enough for a daily driver, and be able to keep things inside the bed.

Looking good Bob!!!

I got a late start as I let the wife sleep in and I took care of little man.

Changed the engine oil in the truck and washed the engine bay because it was looking really bad, I will detail it tomorrow. I will probably do a wash and wax on her too.

I changed the transfer case oil and the transmission fluid in the Jaguar. It made a huge difference in the way it drives. I went ahead and did a complete buff and wax and now she shines like a new penny!!

Made a mess when I missed the drain pan draining the transmission fluid so I have to pressure wash the driveway tomorrow.

Why are you fighting so much rust? Wouldn't a donor be easier and possible cheaper?

Thanks guys, I enjoy the accomplishment of doing something that I never have done before. Had a few lessons over 40 years ago in high school, a
nd being a carpenter by trade it gives me the desire to make something out of nothing, and there was nothin left to the front of that bed. It would be nice if there were some ropop parts for the 66 bed.

Will be needing to replace the tailgate, so if anyone knows where a 64 to 66 might be, let me know. Too many holes in the original to repair.

Chief, smart move to let the boss get her rest, makes for good brownie points in the future.

Jacob, good luck in your property search. Look between Murreyville, and Gainesville. Everybody wants to be in Dahlonega which runs up the prices.
