I knew that is what you did. I use that term for whiners or those that want a pill for everything who complain this hurts and that hurts.
I think most of us here take the same approach to things. But as you get older the pains do slow you down and thing take longer to heal.

I am not a whiner, and I hate pills. I am full of pain, but I can ignore it. Arthritis is no joke, but I keep moving, and I stay moving, so I dont feel it. I do have that HPT. Like I said, when my hand was scorched, doctor was shocked to see my body in shock and I was looking at him chill as **** not feeling a thing. Pain may have a game, but I dont give it a name.

I need to loose my stubborn gene, I come from a long line of hard heads. My grandfather had 3 strokes before he died.. We dont like doctors, or meds. But we like drinking.

Diabetes will make you change your life. My sugar spiked in Jan due to corizone shots to the knees. Got back to watching what I eat and got active walking again. I dropped right at 30 # since mid Jan. If I not working on the truck I walk 2 miles a day

what did you do for a living? I only ask since I am always active, sit maybe 1.5 hours a day.

15 years aircraft mechanic active duty AF, welder for a short time, heavy truck mechanic, taught automotive ( high school and college), civilian aircraft mechanic DOD and last job aircraft maintenance instructor. FAA airframe power plant license, former AS master truck and 6 of 9 car certs, AAS in Aircraft Maintenance, BBA and MBA

Herditary, could have been some stuff I was exposed to. Drank like a fish not the healthiest diet but not all junk either. At 30 I stared gain a little weight. Diabetes can hit anybody it not a picky diease.
