Looks great!

Where'd you buy the Excursion? I've been looking all around Houston/Austin/SA lately for a nice clean one.

We traded ours in July and have missed it ever since. I almost pulled the trigger on a few, but haven't found the right one yet.

BTW, I'm down in Hitchcock.

Looking forward to the updates...

ShawnQ, I don't know how thick your wallet is but I saw this one on ebay today in San Antonio.

Found it up in Lewisville TX. Ford Dealership. Original owner had bought it from there and Traded it in for a new truck couple days before. Had to hurry up there and beat another customer who was showing up during their lunch break according to salesman. Figured he was BSing me until lady showed up while I was signing papers.

I am normally not a fan of spacers to run later 20" wheels, but they would look perfect on your truck. It came out great!

What made you decide to not use the Excursion badge covers they threw together?

Gotcha. Have you considered having a machine shop mill you out some badges to fill the same space as the F250 ones? Since they come out it's be easy to provide a template for sizing and dimension reference. Then have the body shop spray them with clear to preserve the metal finish. Would be pretty sweet to have some legitimate metal badges in there.

You can always buy a set of these if you have deep pockets.

Looks Great! Welcome to the the front end conversion club! I did mine about 6 months ago and love it! I just wish I would have done some detailed pics like you did but I wasn't a member on the forum at the time and it just never occurred to me to keep a record and pics of our work. Me and a friend of mine did all the work at my house and then I sent it off to be paint. I saw you did the door panels have you done the dash conversion yet? Thats what I'm going to tackle next. But this time I'll start a thread and take lots of pics! Oh and the guy that made my custom badges is in San Antonio and he already has the template to make it say anything you want out of billet aluminum

Thanks, No haven't messed with dash. Gonna do 2010 axles swap and lift next. Did you do the rear quarters? I do some work over in Cleburne and Fort Worth maybe I can stop by and see your dash progress if possible. Let me know when you get started. Could you PM badge info?

You don't, by chance, have something about Snap tool or something on your truck do you? I ask because on Tuesday I was playing with a white Ex out on I10 heading towards Katy that had the new nose on it. I near about flipped out talking to my brother in law about the conversion and how I want to do it to my truck too, one day. I tried to keep up with the truck but traffic just wouldn't cooperate

Awesome job on the purchase and what you've done so far! I live out towards the Katy area and like Razzi and Matt am willing to lend a hand if need be. I'm not as versed as they are but if you can find me a video of it I can fix almost anything Also I'd love to see your truck and see what all the conversion would take

Ah ok....I used to get over there a lot more when Houston Biodiesel had competitive prices on vs regular diesel. But last I checked they were about 60 to 70 cents more than what I can get diesel for on my side. I love running B100....just not that much

I've seen like 3 Ex's with that conversion in the last year but always from a far. Yesterday was the closest I came so far. Seems like all the ones I see are white like yours. That pearl color would be killer....both in looks and in the wallet

I'll keep an eye out for you now
