New addition.....
Rescue Kitty.........Dolly for her "Coat of Many Colors". Was about 3 weeks old eyes just opening. Spent last week on Pet Ag milk replacement plus and is going strong. Started on dry Kitten food in limited quantity with the milk today. Eye infections cleared up and looking good.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 44.8 with 1/2" of rain since midnight. Been down looking at the Yamhill River, 1/4 mile away, the creek a couple of hundred yards away from the house and Mill Creek, 2 miles away. All filled to capacity and pretty awesome power wise. A lot of big logs and debris coming down the river.
Casino sank a couple of cars apparently. When they built the place in 94/95, they dug a big hole in the ground so they build an loop back exit off of Hwy 18. The bottom of the hole is where the exit goes under Hwy 18. They dug a couple of catch basins there to collect all the water that drains into the "hole". They screwed up on the size of the pumps and a place for them to drain/pump the water too.
So every monsoon season since 95, they have had to bring in a couple of big diesel operated pumps and pump the water up the hill and into another drainage area. They haven't brought those pumps in yet this year and the hole filled with water. Apparently two "holy rollers" exiting the highway ended up in a swimming pool with water half way up the car doors. Guess who just "won" two brand new cars? Wish I'd have known, I'd have driven our Mercury out there.
