Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Get to replace a ceiling fan tomorrow. I think they are supposed to go around and around and this one isn't. The light still works....

No service call. They have fought for years over who owns what and who is responsible for repairs. They have tried to say I'm responsible for the sidewalk, but that is entirely on them. I have the survey showing that the sidewalk sits a foot outside of my property line and actually is on highway property - they own it. There is no easement or right away involving me at all. My driveway does cross the edge of the highway right of way / sidewalk but they are mandated to provide me with access.
So, I'm not sure what they are wanting to review now, but what ever it is they still haven't shown up.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 58° with heavy overcast. No rain yet but it looks like it and the radar is greener than the grass in my yard.
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. It's getting wetter and wetter...
I got the ceiling fan in the hall to start going around and around again. Tore it apart and cleaned it up, blew it out with canned air and got things put back together, but it has me kind of worried. I'm not convinced there isn't something going on, perhaps in the pull chain switch. Only had one small machine screw left over and I'll be darned if I can figure out where it goes or where it came from.
Think I'll see what Lowe's has in the 36 to 46" fan range on the web site and then head to town. Probably best just to replace it. Better safe than sorry. Would hate to take off and have it short completely out and start a fire.

Nope not enough acid in it to take the paint off the car. Can't be duck tears.
Had a bit of mist this morning, so far it's been mostly just cloudy but they say there is a good chance of rain later this evening..
We're getting enough for the both of us here. Once it decided to cut loose, it really went for broke. We've had a third of an inch in the last hour or two. Sounds like drum sticks hitting the A/C unit hanging out the window.
