WHEN my HPOP went bad I unhooked the discharge tube and let it sit and over time it would constantly let oil seep thru from the reservoir


there was a lot of good info in that thread I posted the link to might be worth a read if you haven't already

Thanks guys! I pulled the HPOP and took it back to Ford. Replacement will be here on Tuesday. I will let you know what happens.

If yiu still have issues drive it till its hot and wont restart, pull the valve covers back off while its hot and air test it.
Youll burn the crap out of yourself but ypu will increase your odds

We'll today he should find out about the HPOP

Make sure you spin the HPOP gear should be smooth and somewhat snug

No not offended at all. HPOP came in today as well as lpop kit. Tomorrow is install day. I will keep you updated. Thank you for all your help!

What does the back side in the front cover look like?
Also the gear it's self?

Any metal fragments in the drain oil or on the magnet for the pan?
One other place to run a magnet around would be the lower half of
the oil filter housing.
