I've got to get down to our place near Stuart, VA to check on the lawn. Seems the person who was going to do it backed out (my niece !@#$%^).
There's another NYer moving to NC (Winston-Salem area) might be taking a car down for him if my trailer is empty..

No yard police down there, Shawn. Just like to keep the yard looking good.
If not kept up, it's a pain to get it the way I want it.

actually there is if someone happens to call them... Code Enforcement.. City/state can actually site you for overgrown yards even if your not living in a Home Owners Association.. its to keep the other property values from being drug down by messy/un-kept yards. forget what they stated the exact code was.. they had a big thing about it in the paper not long ago.

As far as I know, Shawn, Patrick County doesn't have any ordinance like that. If they do it's being ignored.
Half the county stupidvisor's and county owned property could be cited.

Got some work done in the shed today, tool box almost in order, a trip to the Field & Stream store for some fishing line and three rod and reel's re-strung. Drop Tim off at work shortly, then a beer run, and light the grill for some chicken I've had in a marinade since yesterday.

Grass is growing, neighbors have already cut there grass 3 times... guess I need to get the mower out and get it running.

Waiting on the rain to arrive today, just got a new tire mounted on the bike. Taking a trip to sc next weekend, and the TN and VA the following weekend.

Marty I'm gonna take you up on those fishing spots. I drove through part of Jordan Lake today going out to Carborro and back. I got hooked up with a bunch of volunteers that help people get repairs on their homes. We hung gutters on a house until we we're rained out. By the time I got in my truck I was soaken wet from head to toe.
