Had a little dinner tonight at my house to "celebrate" my little brother getting his liscense, my parents, brother, sister, grandma and a cousin. Don't get me wrong I love my family, but I'm glad to have a empty house again. There is nothing like being able to set in your chair in boxers.

Ps yall are all welcome for that visual.

Just remember, pants are a requirement for the monthly dinner.

What happens at the monthly dinners stays at the monthly dinners.

What's up fellers, I'm hoping the rain pulls out by early afternoon like the weather guessers are saying it will. I've got two packs of ribs covered in dry rub and headed for the smoker in a couple of hours.
Yes the same type of ribs that I dropped on the ground just a few weeks ago when my hand gave out.

Y'all have a good day

How'd the ribs go Bob?

I messed with my car all day. Got the skip fixed, started another 3 day chemical flush in the cooling system and started topping off fluids, only to find out the hard way my coolant system isn't circulating as it should. I'm pulling the thermostat tonight to see if it's clogged or just not working. Thank goodness it's only three bolts to get access to the thermostat lol

Ribs came out just fine Matt
I hope you can get away with just a bad thermostat versus a restricted heater core

It is definitely not the heater core...That got bypassed due to it leaking like spigot on full blast lol. At this point, it's either the thermostat not working (for whatever reason) or the water pump going bad.

The part I ordered for my mower came in a week early, and with the sun being outside (even though the wind is cool) I got the yard mowed this afternoon.
It has begun

Good lord don't mention yard work, my yard is a disaster. I still need to get a battery for the mower, guess I'll pull it out next weekend and attempt getting it running.

Matt, what type of symptoms is the car giving? If the heater core is leaking like that the water pump is working. Does it sound like coolant is boiling in the block? Are you just losing coolant or overheating is the main problem?
