Been a nice weekend, got out and did some yard work yesterday. Think my neighbors are surprised to see I do own a rake!

Heading out to the shop in a few to finish up replacing the parking brake cables, get it off the jack stands, and maybe pressure wash the back half of the frame while the bed is still off...

In NY the DEC in their infinite wisdom has banned burning because it's so dry out...We need floatation boots to walk around the yard.

Hi Tony. N of Ithaca right now. Born in Louisiana. Lived in Baldwin for a while. Left in 1966, moved parents off the Island around 2003. Too much traffic down there now.
Couple of NY'ers are around Taylorsville (Roger Townsend, Ray Vorheis). Have a daughter and family near Raleigh. She seems to be running across a lot of NY transplants.

We lived in Bay Shore. Dad and his brother owned the carwash on Sunrise Hwy in Bellmore and the Studebaker dealership in Merrick.
We left in 69.
