A few things on the agenda for today.
Groceries, yard needs mowed and trimmed, truck needs washed (the birds must hate that brown color), and it needs a good vacuum due to the spoiled puppy dog, Rocky

Y'all have a great day

I did get part of my agenda completed yesterday, now today I need to get the groceries done and get the place straightened up a bit.
I have a nephew coming in Saturday from Point Barrow Alaska (in the Arctic Circle) and we're gonna try to get out and have some fun with him.
Hoping to make it to the east coast for a few day's, some fishing, and a little BBQ in the back yard.

Y'all have a great day

Believe I'm gonna take it easy this weekend. After 500 miles on May 2nd to SC and back, then a 1000 last weekend to TN/VA gonna set around the house drink a beverage or 6. Be a all around lazy ***, may even wet a hook.

Thought some might be interested. New pistol range just opened outside of Fuquay.

I'm interested n anyplace to go shooting!
But it looks like that link is bad.
I have a nephew in from Alaska (100 miles inside the Arctic Circle, Point Barrow) here visiting us, and he takes after his ol' Uncle Bob when it comes to BBQ (and it is going now) and shooting guns.

Hope y'all are having a nice weekend!

Took the wife shooting this morning, she is taking the CCP class tomorrow. She didn't do to dad I don't guess, 24 for 24 8 rounds from each of the 3 distances.

Then finally installed the new kitchen faucet thats been setting on the counter for almost 2 weeks. Took a ride down the island to salter patch to have dinner. Came back home had a few drinks, now bout time to hit the sack.

Well my nephew is here, made it in Saturday afternoon.
Did some more BBQ in the back yard and played around town and let him get some well needed rest from the jet lag, and get used to our being 4 hours ahead of the time in Alaska.
We'll be on the road in a couple of hours, headed for Myrtle Beach for a couple of days, and back Wednesday afternoon, so Tim can get to work that evening, and Shari to work Thursday morning.

Y'all behave

Hope Bob and Tony have safe and enjoyable trips.

Larry, might need to keep taking the wife to the range unless yall's plan is to have the perp bleed out slowly while yall are waiting on the police. Just kidding. Cool she is taking the class. Hope she does well and has fun.

Yea definitely gonna start shooting some more... especially before she starts carrying. For some reason someone told her she "didn't have to aim just point and shoot". Tried to tell her to aim.... finally listened to me and you see the out come around the bulls eye.

Also I should add all the bullet holes around the paper in the blue drum were already there. That's been the target stand behind my grandpa's for 2 years. Prolly has somewhere around 1500 holes in it.

Well, Just starting my extended Memorial Day weekend. The guys and I are going to be heading to the Coca-Cola 600, with 65 gallons of beer, a couple of trucks and infield camping passes for the whole weekend. This will be my 5th year camping out there. We're still debating if we have enough beer. We will be inside turn 1. Probably the only campers who bring a bar with them. Any Ex-Military, or Military guys out there stop by (or anyone from FTE) for a beer, its the least we can do.

Here's a picture from a past year when I took my old truck:

Coca-Cola 600 Nascar race

Unfortunately the beast won't be going this year. But maybe next.
