GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!
Gonna be beautiful today, sunny and 70, and supposed to be my last day of Physical Therapy and made another payment on my ol' 79' F150 "Ka'Bluey" yesterday, and will send another out the end of this month. Then it will be half paid for, and still looks like I should have em' back by September
When I sold em' I had the body work 90% finished. September can't get here soon enough.
Y'all have a good day
Hey Tony, in it is a tired 400, and C6.
When I sold the truck it went with a complete 1970, 429 that I wanted to build. It never made it with the truck to the next few owners. It was sold two times in the first year after I sold it.
Now a friend and his (FTE members) have it.
Ahh 429/460s..... I went on a buying craze of them a couple years ago.
The 429 in my 77, got another complete early 80s with cam intake/headers, got a 433 short block in my garage. And there are still atleast 2 bare blocks (one of them is a 70 Dove block) at my parents in there building. Along with atleast 2 or 3 (one is 70 model doves) set of heads, another 460 crank, a set of rods and .030 pistons. Along with some stock pistons...... yea I got less than a grand in buying all that. Well except the 433 short block cause I was building that.
That 400 that's in there is still going, but it's tired. I need to start getting something else lined up to drop in. That 429 I had, I wanted to go 30 over, and a decent cam, nice intake and probably headers. Not a ground pounding build, but a good solid engine.

Taking off shortly on a craigslist run. Snagging a table saw that may need an electric motor. If I can put a motor in it for decent money then I'm set. If not, it's back on the list for scrap.
Weather is SWEET! I did wash the truck "Bear" Tuesday, nice to see those chrome wheels sparkle again.
I no with no doubt will be at some lake today and/or tomorrow.
Hoe everybody's doing well
WP, I finally found a leak in the radiator, so I'm waiting on a replacement for that ($55 on Amazon, could easily spend that much trying to repair this 17 year old one). The issue that had me thinking it may have been water pump was the drastic difference in temperature and pressure on the upper hose vs the lack of pressure?heat on the lower coolant hose. However, I'm thinking it's probably a bunch of gunk that has gotten lodged in the radiator from where I've been trying to run cleaner through it. I hold judgement for after I install the new radiator, cause with my luck I'll still have to replace the water pump lol
