Yeah I've always wanted a 2nd one, now I have one! I'm only 25 and own 5 cars... Alot of my friends just shake their heads.

This truck was deluxe when new, got the interior lights, clock, and horn working. One fuse was blown (10 insted of 15) and the other was missing, put them both in and whala!Cruise still isn't working, check vac switch on brake pedal, havent checked any power things with it yet.

Gotta get it to start better in the mornings, this air intrusion is killing me. Anyone have a specific return kit they prefer over another?

I just ordered a pack of 111 Viton orings from amazon and got some fuel line locally. My fuel heater was also leaking so I eliminated it with a 1/2" pipe plug

Regarding Air intrusion. Did you try replacing the "O" rings on the fuel heater terminal?
I inadvertently fixed my air intrusion with a heat gun.
I was having trouble removing the fuel filter. After applying heat to the top of the filter housing, "voila" no more air intrusion !!!
The heat must have swelled the "O" rings , preventing air intrusion ...
The filter needed more persuasion however.... An exhaust pipe chisel on an air hammer did the trick....

Regarding Cruise control
If the cruise control can't be fixed with a replaced fuse, It may be the cruise module is bad.
My cruise doesn't work either. I haven't tried to do anything to that yet..

Well now I may have a bigger problem, drove it to church tonight and noticed stream, i have coolant pooling on the top of the engine, drivers side, down where the glow plugs are, just the first 2glow plugs on that side, temp gauge never went up, i know it is going to need a water pump but why would it gather right there?

There is a coolant temp sensor in the 'upper side' of the head right at the front; check on that.

no its not there, just checked. Started it up this morning, I watched coolant start swirling around that glow plug on the drivers side, something is defiantly amiss...Oil is clean, radiator is nasty dirty, I looked at a picture of a 6.9 head gasket, the square part in the corner, is that a coolant port?

Any other thoughts?

That coolant is not pushing out the glow plug and even if you had a cylinder that was full enough your engine would be hydro locked.

That coolant is traveling there somehow. I'd check your heater hoses. And follow that wire loom, it may be transferring coolant from elsewhere to those areas.

Ok, ill do that, just very strange, there isnt any coolant hoses any where near there. I'll try posting a video of what I'm seeing, maybe that will help. Its definatly filling up in the front first and working its way back.

I know, it's the wrong side for the coolant hoses, that why I suspect something along the lines of a leak upstream and traveling inside the wire loom and coming out in that area.

Pic link is failing now (MUCH better to use the "Insert Image" feature so the pic is local to FTE and not dependent on NSA-gle or spy-vigilink). But from viewing it earlier, gotta wonder, is this indeed coolant, and not fuel?

That is bizarre... headgasket maybe? Might just be leaking up between the head and block.

She sounds good though.
