Ain't nothing wrong with that fish at all!
I haven't been in the state long enough to find good spots, selling my boat doesn't help either. I don't even know where Falls Lake is. And oddly enough I used to fish a Falls Lake back in Missouri.
Falls Lake is in Raleigh. It is where the Neuse (the river that runs through my town) originates. I fish with my boss, he fishes a lot of tournaments. I fish a few but mostly go along with him on practice days.
We fish Kerr, High Rock, Hyco, Falls, Wheeler, Harris and a few more too LOL
I catfish too. My biggest was a little over 35lb, flathead.
This is a 55lb flathead my bro-in-law caught a couple of years ago in about a foot of water. It hit a live bream on a slip sinker rig about 10PM in the Neuse down between Princeton and Goldsboro. It's still alive in a farm pond that once was over run with bream. He has plenty to eat.
Pulled the old pig cooker out the weeds last week, me and dad have done a few things to it like bearings and so on. Also a few things to make it took right. Got it baking off the 4-5 years of setting. The cooker was bought to cook a pig at my first birthday party and I'll be 25 in October...
Still in decent shape to be that old.
Sunday a little over 50 pounds of Boston butts and 30 pounds of chicken will go on it for my little brothers 16th bday.
That Shark stuff is fun now. On a vacation in Florida we went deep sea fishing and several people were catching Shark, including my son Tim. I was catching Grouper
the gator stuff isnt when it surfaces less than 3 ft from ya and is pissed off...
I have a gas grill for stuff like frozen burger patties, hot dogs etc. But the good stuff goes in the smoker. I'll start it with my chimney starter full of charcoal, (no lighter fluid) then it will run with hardwood, usually Hickory.

Yea I only have a charcoal grill which is really just a 35 gallon drum cut in half with legs... lol.
I'm wanting a bike (motorcycle) and half way debating on trading some snap on stuff for one.
You can get some decent bikes for fairly cheap as long as you don't have to have a new harley or BMW. Not sure if you'd find someone to trade SO stuff for a bike, but could probably sell some fairly quick.
Just picked up 30 lbs of meat to throw on the smoker for this weekend at the farmers market today! A couple of butts and a shank. Should be a good saturday.
I need to check out that Farmers Market for stuff to put out on the smoker. I do mostly pork ribs, or beef brisket. And not real wild about what I find at most stores, and it can be a nice chunk of money to boot.
