We are all getting together and going to Houston Raceway drag on Friday night.

Hey guys, good news...there are 2 drag strips in Houston and one is open on Saturday night. It's called Rankin' Road. Actually, I think it's like right outside of Houston. My friend went on a few saturday nights to run his car, so both days will be good for dragging. I'll keep you posted on the other drag strip with more info.

intake

I recently found that K&N finaly makes intakes for the 4.2L engine. The street legal one promises the best hp gains of the bunch offered, but boast one of the higher prices. It promises i think around 16hp and 22lbft. Sounds like a good deal at $230. I will probably get around the begining of the year hopefully with over time pay with the holiday season. Is it a good idea, its looks like the best deal and its K&N!

Make sure to read the fine print and make sure it doesn't boast an increase of 16 HP for K&N in general, rather than 16 HP for your 4.2. If thats the case, Airraid, Volant, and AirForce1 make better claims. for 230 dollars, you can get any of the other kits. I think that is rather expensive for a K&N intake system, IMHO.
