Smoke and Danica eh? Sounds like someone is a race car fan.
Might be going down to Carlsbad this weekend. Someone on U-Ship bought a 69 Ranchero and it is in Fresno. Wants me to pick it up Saturday and deliver it on Sunday. I am trying to find a tow back to this area so I can make money on both legs of the trip instead of dead heading all the way back. Maybe I can deliver it on Saturday instead, since the pickup is so close to my house.
Happy Friday Nor Cal FTE and friends. Hope everyone has a great day, and even better weekend. I won the bid on the Carlsbad tow, so I will be picking up the Ranchero tomorrow and towing it down on Sunday. Got some other bids out there too, so hopefully I can bring another vehicle up this way on the return trip and make a bigger profit for the whole trip.
bought the wife a new Edge with the 2.0 EcoBoost yesterday-heard good and bad on these lil motors, but its waaaaay nicer than anything we have ever had. I'm just a lil nervous having a turbocharged motor...
River is finally a good temperature for swimming. A little bit cool but its manageable.
I cleaned the egr valve on the 6.0l today hoping it was the culprit to my random stalling. I dont think it was, but it needed cleaned. Headed to the river after that. Some people from the next town over where there with their pit bull and chiweenie things.
My dogs swam across the river and the pit tried to follow, made it about half way, and sank like a rock. So I got to dive in and drag it out. It was very grateful. The young chiweenie on the other hand attacked the crap out of my leg with one of its talons. Looks like I got cut with a razor all the way down my calf...
