DOES FAN CONTROL AC PERFORMANCE ????

Have slight AC problem in the morning temps mid 70's AC is cold. Once it warms up in the day , and its been hot AC doesn't seem to be as cold , i thought the fan comes on during AC operation i don't hear it . can this be causing my air to not be as cold. Any thoughts anybody.

The fan doen't come on when the AC is on. The first thing you probably want to do is check the high side and low side pressures. There is an AC forum on this site. That is the best place to ask AC questions and those guys are great at solving AC problems.

Normal ac temps out the center duct is 20 to 25 degrees below ambient in cab with the system on recirc. As the cab cools down so does the duct temp. That is with a normally operating system. On hot days it pays to open the windows for a minute or two to let the super heat from sitting in the sun out.
