Thanks Scott. I don't have a BBQ but I did buy some chicken thighs, and will bake some of them today. Along with green beans, and peach slices. Was able to get the Jaguar's gear shift to get out of parking after consulting with the people on the Jaguar forum. It is a temporary fix, and a bit inconvenient, but it works. There is a small little screw in the upper left of the gear box panel, and you unscrew that and use a screwdriver to press down on the tab, and you can move the lever out of park. It is a two hand job though which is where the inconvenient part comes in, but it works. Drove it to O'Rielly's to get 5 quarts of oil and a Motorcraft oil filter for the F350.
edit: Forgot to mention, in order to post pics here, upload them to a site like Photobucket, then copy and paste the "img" file to your post.

Sounds like the mechanical override that was in my '95 Escort. Is that tab actually a part of the relay? Is that relay what's at fault? If the relay isn't broken or jammed with debris, you've probably got a loose connection in that circuit... check the wiring before replacing the relay, it may save you some $$$.
I hate 'smart' cars, they make me feel stupid.
"Your door is ajar... Your door is ajar..." No it's not, my door is a DOOR!
Why can't they tell you something USEFUL, like "There's a cop behind the next billboard"?
Nope, not vintage, it is a 1996 XJ6. Ford still owned Jaguar then. (1989 to 2008). I have not done any testing on the car yet. The Jag forum people seem to think the culprit is the brake switch, not the interlock solenoid. Will see if I can get my shade tree mechanic to check the switch as I can't get under the dash with my disability.
I did not have a chance to make it this year, too hot for the little guy I thought. I did see a couple of the fly overs from my house...they do a great job putting that together. I will enter my 60 in the car show next year and take the whole family including the dogs.
I smoked 2 racks of St. Louis style ribs...new rub and method, came out pretty tasty

Happy Tuesday Nor Cal FTE and friends. Hope everyone survived the weekend.
I bought a used 20" Mongoose BMX bike at a yard sale over the weekend to fix up and give to a girl in the after school program who will be turning 7 June 4th. Paid $25 for it, and I can already tell I overpaid. Not only does it need a seat, and handlebar grips, I found out it also needs bearings for the crank, and rear wheel. So, hindsight being 20/20, I should have just bought her a pink bike from Walmart for $50 and been done with it. As I have only bought the seat and bar grips so far, and already have $49 invested in this one, and it is not even pink yet. It is black. And it will stay black too, as buying pink paint, a can of primer, and clearcoat will cost an additional $30. I keep forgetting we live in a throw away society. It is cheaper to replace something than it is to fix it.

Yah, hey.... check in the free list on Craig's List... you might find one there
Made $100 moving this today. 32' gooseneck rv that one neighbor bought from another. It was about a 3 mile haul, but the last mile was way down the mountain on a river access road. Never been happier with my 5 speed than today.
