Yeah they're the same. They just don't list the '97 model year because that year was when it started getting tough to identify the trucks as a series. The '97 F-150 was the new body style, then in '98 there was no F-350 and the only F-250 you could get was the "heavy half" F-150. The 97-98 model years are tough ones for Ford trucks. I happen to believe though that the best PSD powered OBS trucks are all '97's though!
If you want to unload them I'll take them,

Today I got out the up pipes. I don't know how I got them in there last winter. I had to loosen up the drivers side body mounts and jack up the body to get them out. So, last winter I must have horsed on them and broke them. Right out of the gate I was leaking exhaust. The tight area just above where they connect to the exhaust manifold, where is my porta power? The camera has better eyes then I do, the picture is excellent!!

OK, here is my dilemma. I don't trust Jake at Irate Diesel to fix them and get them back to me. I'll ask my nephew if he will fix them and if he can't or won't, Bill said he would. I emailed Jake about it at first and he got right back to me. I emailed him back two or three times and nothing.

Ugh. I think you'd be better off getting your nephew or Bill to fix it too. I'd guess your nephew will do it, just get a new bellow and I bet it won't take him long. Jake may get it done, but who knows when, and like you said, not always easy to contact him.

Was that bellow rubbing the body too?

It was rubbing the trans, I think I really don't understand what is going on here.
