Restorating interior

How do you fix problems such as cracked/dry rotted dash boards? Is their a place where I can just buy new ones? Or is their any other solutions to this problem?

You can just get a cover that looks stock for about $100, I want to say from JCWhitney, but broncograveyard, and dennis carpenter have very good products for a little more cash.

Perhaps I'm a little weird, but I pulled my cracked vinyl dash off, saw a smooth, painted, metal dash, and called it done. There are a couple of bolt holes that, ideally, I'd fill. But you might take a look at it without the vinyl before investing in a new vinyl dash.

You can do a search on ebay too. Look under 79 ford truck. They are always there. Just dont get the first one you see. Wait to buy the one you can afford, they go for around 40 -60 bucks For one that is in good shape. Erv
