Thanks! It should look pretty good once all the pipes are painted and everything is buttoned up under the hood.

That picture looks like there isn't much left under the hood! Won't be long now Bill!

Got a late start today, but I got the IC pipes welded up and the pillar pod and gauges in. I'm gonna get the pipes painted this week and then start on the down pipe.....I'm dreading that.

Your building your own DP? Hmm interesting. Make sure to post lots of pics! Id love to have a 3.5" DP (and easier to install now that the engines out lol)

I'm gonna try JP. I don't know if I'll be able to do it or not. I cut the stock exhaust off one of the parts trucks today to use the bends from it to build it, but I'm not sure yet if it's gonna work.

Thanks Jose! I did fab the Y pipe. I'll have more pics of all the IC piping tomorrow or the next day, after it's all painted.

I'm talking about my trans. I wanna see how it does towing. If it tows like I am thinking it will, I will be happy with it. And if it does, I will need head studs, springs and push rods before I do something stupid like drag racing pulling 10k lbs. LOL!!
LOL. I got outrun by my neighbors bone stock OBS today. Just barely, but he was slowly pulling ahead of me. I need to get the chip installed on this thing, but I don't want to destroy the turbo yet. I haven't really crossed to the other side. Still love my OBS more. The SD has already been giving me a few problems with fuel leaks and the hub lockouts. Stupid thing... lol

The OBS is getting plenty of love. I got the dynatrac stuff ordered a couple weeks ago. Next paycheck I'm hoping to order the locker and truetrac for it. I haven't decided whether or not to re-gear it yet though. I need to go back through the calculations.. I would like to be able to do 135 mph @ around 3500 RPM. I THINK 3.55's will do that with the E4OD, but need to make sure.

LOL. Not a secret this time. BW just came out with a new FMW turbo on the S300 platform. It is a 64.5/87.4mm FMW S300. It comes "out of the box" with a 1.10 T4 housing and a 6 pad thrust. The new 64.5mm FMW is expected to meet or exceed the flow of the current 66mm cast wheel, but with improved response due to the smaller wheel. I expect the new wheel will flow slightly more air than the cast 66 wheel and it should spool quicker in towing applications, but I haven't seen flow data yet.

I gotcha the s300 turbos are useless for me now. I have one that I need to get rid of practically new but no one seems to want it

Yeah, your setup would actually love the S468 FMW. Probably spool up a decent bit quicker than that 75, but it wouldn't pull quite as hard up top.

I hope the S366 does ok with my set up.

I got all the IC piping and intake pieces painted today. They turned out pretty good, but I'm not happy with my welds.....I think they look like crap, but they will hold and be good enough to get me running. I'll pull them out this spring and redo the weld and re-paint them. I got in a hurry and that's what I get

So that's why we didn't see any pictures of them!

I happen to have a connection to a place that is set up with a nice TIG unit and a guy that is getting pretty good at using it. The place my brother works has a NICE machine shop and the owner and I got to shooting the crap when I was up there. He says "Feel free to stop by and use the shop any time you need it". I might make him regret those words, lol.

I'm not happy with the welds at all, but I'll fix them later. It's just a cosmetic thing, but it bugs me cause I got in a hurry and did less of a job than I wanted to.

I'll put up some more pics when I get them back in the truck. They are hanging up at work letting the paint dry good overnight. I'll bring them home tomorrow evening.
