Big Red will move on to another owner...it's just a matter of when. The ECSB Bill had before this one was the longest I've ever seen him keep a vehicle in the 8 years I've known him. I'm wondering if he'll break the record with Big Red or not...time will tell.

I'd lay a little cash on that JP! Mine ain't goin nowhere, and will be on the road as long as I am!

I really think Bill will keep this one, but I don't know him like you Tyler! He's putting a lot of work in it, and I think its really what he needs from what I understand.

LOL!! It might be on there, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna sell it! But if I do, I'll buy two or three to replace it

Well really, it's a reverse psychology thing - like when you tell your child not to touch something...what's the first thing they do? Want to touch it. So I tell Bill "you'll be selling this thing in no time...you won't keep this...all this work just to turn around and sell it...you won't keep this a year...etc" and that will work on his brain to make him keep it. Maybe. lol

I doubt we will know each other til we die, so the winner will have to claim his glory at the Pearly Gates!

Mine may not stay on the road, but I'll have it for a long long time still. This OBS was my first truck. Got it when I was 15 years old and I'm not even going to consider letting go of my first truck.

Bill.... Done yet? lol

Seriously Bill. Stop pu$$y footin around and get that thing done! Lol

When Bill first bought Big Red, I went at him hard for a trade and some cash. The wife told me not to get rid of my truck. Not that he would have taken the deal, but I guess my big red has sentimental value to us both. Not to mention it's my first pickup as well. Always had access to any kinda truck, but this is MY first one.

I guess mine isn't technically my first one.... I bought a 1994 Ranger when I was like 13, sold it about a year later when my dad gave me a 1981 F-250 4x4 with a 302 and a 4 speed in it. Apparently my dad never got the title from the previous owner and when I called trying to get the title and told him I got it running again, the previous owner took it back. That's when I took what little money I still had, went and bought my OBS @ 15 years old. Had the truck for almost a year before I even had a drivers license.

This truck started everything that I do today. It sparked many friendships, including Cody. He brought me and the truck in and helped me learn everything I do today.. I would have never met him and many other good friends had I not bought that truck. lol If it weren't for Cody, I would have never found FTE. So here we are.. Flat broke and going to pick up more parts after work tonight. All thanks to that busted old truck of mine. LOL

I'm not pu$$y footin! I just keep creating more work for myself LOL!! I did get the down pipe about done this evening. I really want it to be done so I can drive it, but honestly, I haven't worked on this project like I do most other stuff. I been kinda enjoying the whole build, trying different things and ideas as I go, and also fixing other little things that I find along the way. I have tied to get in a hurry on this a couple times, but seems like when I do, I mess something up, so I'm just taking it as it comes. I don't see any sense in getting in too big of hurry anyway...........since I'm gonna have this truck forever......

That is the right attitude..... Bill

It is 100X easier to do everything now....rather than saying...Dang I wish I had done this or that while I had it down

As long as you have the time and money.....just keep doing what you are doing

When finished you will have something to be very proud of..
