Well a little update I guess, truck has been running flawlessly since I changed the fuel filters this winter, I guess it was just sucking some crap out of the fuel tank I had in it at that time. At most I ever see is 15psi out of the big charger but I have plans to help it spin a little faster, I can hold my own against most any "older" diesel, early 2000's. Possibly considering trying a 4r100 swap to help it a little bit, but I'm not sure if I really want to do the work. Other than that I'm awaiting the big bore to see what else I can break and will update then!

You are still running a stock IP? 15psi with that turbo and a stock IP isn't bad at all! What else other than the big bore Db2 are you planning on? You mentioned having a plan to spin the turbo faster, so you got me curious. Lol.
As far as the 4r100 goes, if you are building a truck for speed that would be a good swap and worth the work. If you mostly use your truck for work or whatever, I would just keep the manual...
I got a mazda 929, 92 and it sucks. Can't find parts and 15-16mpg on the highway.
You guys, I also have a car for beating around town. It's a caprice classic, 1996, and it's actually pretty good on gas, reliable, and super cheap to fix.
Highway with a bit of mixed driving around town, 25 mpg, and it's a little v8, super comfortable car, in fact most comfortable vehicle I've been in for a while. Rear wheel drive, so if you blow transmission, not a huge deal.
I know 25 mpg isn't the best, but considering the cheap parts, and plus it's not a tin can either, it rides nice and I'm guessing would do pretty good in a collision.
I bet it would do close to 30 mpg on a long trip, no problem.

Back when i was a kid we had one with a 350, got about 16. Lots of power though. but it rode too soft... always got car sick in it.
Plans on the s366 include a billet wheel and some kind of diverter valve for the exhaust side of the turbo. I just cleaned up my setup a little bit and now I can hit 20psi without much work, thats pretty darn good on a DPS Turbo Cal, who knows what it actually puts out because as we all know Ken was a quack. I have a hard time keeping the tires sticking when I drop into 2nd gear! Its very fun to drive!
Her ARP how did you run your cross over I cant really tell in the pics where did you run the driver side and how did you tie it in?
I'll try to get up another picture of the manifolds and the cross over, it goes from the driver side down under the transmission and up to the turbo where it sits in the wheel well.

Ken had nothing to do with that pump, His pumps were built by a local shop, same shop that does peninsulars stuff. Its a good shop, they are just very conservative with pump mods.
You know what is funny Austin, I was running a few numbers on turbos, and just decided to throw your setup in at 20psi to see where it would map out on the S366 compressor map.... At 2800rpm, at 20psi, your engine is flowing 46lb's/min of airflow at a pressure ratio of 2.4 (Assuming your less than 1000ft above sea level) and that puts you smack dab in the middle of the compressor map, so you are probably making pretty good power now with the pump... Id say around 250whp.

I wouldn't doubt it, not trying to talk it up or anything but, I can smoke a brand new dodge 1500 with a hemi, and I can have it pegged in every gear and it never smokes unless I lug it on purpose, just a light haze at WOT, its using all the fuel its got that's for sure, how many horse do you think I could get with W/M?
