I sure hope so. But the reality of it is... Nobody's saying anything! This past spring they laid off 6 people from our department (about 10% of the staff). There has been talk of more layoffs... I'm kind of in a wait and see holding pattern. I've been here 9 years now and am one of the newer employees. It's getting to the point that there will be nobody left to do any actual work.

I keep thinking back to last night and and I can not recall seeing or sensing a single warning sign. He was bright eyed, energetic, impatient getting his dinner (as usual), slicked his oats right up.
Heaven help you if you gave another horse their oats before you gave Peanut his. He would throw a temper tantrum! Liked his stall in the barn but always had to have the door open so he could come and go as he pleased. I think he may have been a little on the claustrophobic side. Had his own 1 acre pen and pasture. This was mainly because he and Jake had disagreements over who was the heard stud............even though neither one of them are "studs" anymore.
