Depends on which way the "wind" blows. You also have Salem (politicians) and Eugene (liberal arts school second only to Berkley - maybe) between us. All the hot air rising up is bound to keep you a few degrees warmer.

Update: We are back up to 28.0 now.

You will get the hot air from the pols in Salem, but I get the un-washed stench from eugene............Luckily, most days it never gets beyond 42nd st. in Springfield.

Happily, I can say we are most fortunate in that the wind blows mostly from the W-NW so the Salem stuff usually goes the other way.

I think it must be the Coast Range that we sit right at the base of. Just 30 miles to the west, on the other side of the Coast Range Mtns., it is 41*.
