Bad day in Bedrock. Had a horse go down and pass during the night. Not a thing wrong with him at around 2000 to 2030 last night......................neighbor is bringing his back hoe in a little later this morning...................
He was 12. From the looks of it, I would say colic. Vet also thinks the same thing. We aren't going for a necropsy, but that is sure what it looks like. Had to deal with equine colic quite a few times. Never had it affect a horse this quickly before. We have always had enough warning and enough time for intervention.
